To mark their 2oth anniversary, The Bill Lowe Gallery Presented "Rest" which featured several artists like Udo Noger, Michael David, Steven Seinberg, and new gallery artists Stefany Hemming, Nathalie Maranda and Nall. It's been a while since we went to an Opening at Lowe Gallery and this one is our very first attendance since they moved to the new location. This visit marked a lot of firsts. It was our first time to bring friends, our first visit without our kids, & the very first time that Scott and I got to meet Mr. Bill Lowe. Our dear friends Dan and Sherianne joined us for the event and what an exciting evening it was. For years, we have admired Mr. Lowe from a distance. (Click here to read my story on how I was introduced to Lowe Gallery back in the days).
Often times when we visited the gallery with the kids, we wanted to say hello but never found the perfect timing. So when I finally got the courage, I asked a gorgeous young lady who happens to be Elizabeth Rickenbaker to please introduce us. She was so sweet & accommodating to make the introduction and even took our photos to mark the event.
The moment was surreal. Mr. Bill Lowe was so warm and engaging and really took the time to talk with us where we learned that his Mom is a nearby neighbor. Ha! Perhaps I'll run into her when I'm out and about doing errands.
Thanks Elizabeth for the introduction and to Mr. Lowe for spending some time with us and to the rest of the Gallery Staff for their gracious accomodations.
