Holiday Wine Tasting

 
Michelle and Rick's Annual Wine Tasting Party was loaded of fun and cheers!

Every year guests bring a bottle of wine for the taste test and this year Michelle and Rick covered the bottles for added mystery and excitement.

Fabulous and oh so festive wraps.

Throughout the evening in between mingling,  the guests taste each wine to try to figure out which one favors their palette.

Michelle was full of surprises to keep us all entertained.  Here she is preparing the yummy crab cakes.

A day after Tammy's actual bday, several of her friends gathered to throw her a big surprise bday bash.  Her good friends Ashley and Kim paid her a visit at her house, where she was gamely blind folded and whisked away to a suprise party location where friends and family were waiting to surprise her. Happy Birthday Debbie Coe!

   

Debbie's Island theme birthday party was a complete BLAST!   Every little details was so festive and fun.  Ti ki lights were posted all around the yard and beautiful and colorful flowers were screaming for attention in the garden. The paved walk way led us to the covered patio where we found the birthday girl sitting in front of a caricature artist drawing her portrait. Inside, the raffia curtain set the mood for a fun island entertaining.  Behind it was the tropical buffet table complete with fresh pineapple and colorful hibiscus that wrapped around the grass skirting.  Back outside there was a patio umbrella where if you looked closely it was made out of manufactured but pretty cream raffia that shaded the guests from the sun while sipping their favorite island drinks.

 

Name tags were handy so everyone could mingle and didn't have to worry about forgetting someone's name.  Colorful leis were everywhere for everyone to wear.  Flashing ornamental ice lights blinked in purple & yellow signaling the guests not to miss the cold drinks waiting inside the icy buckets.  The hosts set up games & gave away prizes. Delectable fares were served and endless treats and drinks were enjoyed. In the background the sound of the Beach Boys became a little louder as the girls danced the night away until the wee hours ...nearing 4AM to be exact while the guys talked and exchanged opinions about politics.  The highlight of the evening had to be the caricature artist where the hosts aked him to work overtime so every guest could take home a memento from the fab party. Thanks Perry & Debbie for hosting a super fun and enjoyable shindig. Happy Birthday Debbie Girl....it was an absolute blast!

The night was way too fun especially when the Tokich Girls and Marybeth joined the group. They rocked the dance floor with me, Tammie and the birthday girl!  So nice to meet you Marybeth. Hope to see you again when you visit " The ATL."  Remember NO SNAPPING or CLAPPING while dancing.  (The young ones taught us this trick but it sure was hard not to clap and snap as we grooved to the music of the Beach Boys :) LOL!
