Fish Taco at Chepe's Mexican Grill

The Chepe's Mexican Grill next to the new Publix on Mathis Airport is a Rock Star and I have to tell you, I am officially hooked on the Fish Taco. I was there for dinner on Friday and was back again for lunch the following day.  The slight crunch on the tilapia, the hint of spice on the chipotle sauce combined with the silky smooth texture of the fresh avocado is a total Mexican Fiesta Yum!    My eleven year old raves about their Carne Asada.  He said it's juicy and perfectly seasoned.  Now that is some great review coming from a little guy who only likes his Mommy's Steaks. So far everything I've had here is fresh and delish.  The staff is gracious, efficient & quick with their service. Gladys Knight's Chicken and Waffles

My friend and TV host Tammie and I had a great girl bonding and a fantastic lunch at Gladys Knight's Chicken and Waffles for lunch.  It's been a while since she and I made attempts to meet up for lunch but with our crazy schedule it was not easy.  I have been craving to eat at Gladys since I was first introduced back in March so I could not wait to get to the first bite. 

Tammie ordered the Chicken and Waffles and since I've never tried it, I ordered exactly the same.  Our  server Tomiko was gracious and delivered a fast service with our order.  With me and Tammie catching up with our latest girl talk, our order came to us in such a speedy fashion.  Within minutes Chicken and Waffles were right in front of us ready to be eaten and enjoyed.  The order comes with 3 perfectly seasoned Chicken Wings and a Large Size Waffle.  The combination was deliscious and very satisfying. 

Having lunch at Gladys Knight turned out to be such a fun lunch for us girls.  The ever charming and very personable new manager, Charlie made us feel right at home.  He was attentive and made sure that our lunch experience was memorable.  Thanks to Charlie and his staff, we so enjoyed our time and it was a delight meeting them.

Attention Moms  & Dads  ....Kids 12 and under can eat free from the rising stars section of the menu.  Monday - Wednesday 5PM - 8PM.

Terra Terroir

  

Terra Terroir is the perfect spot for alfresco dining.  The place is located in a strip mall and appears to be ordinary but once inside,  this little gem brings the Wow Factor in outdoor dining.  Just look at the setting. This restaurant came highly recommended by my fashionista friend Colleen Nolan Holt  owner of the ultra fabulous boutique called Elements of Three  Can't wait to go there.

Great Place To Take Mom For Brunch

AJC  listed the top Atlanta Restaurants to make your Mom's Day even more special. Canoe Restaurant in Vinings tops the list and I can certainly understand why.  The waterfront and the manicured lawn at Canoe are a complete delight to the senses.  You can take a relaxing stroll as you wait for your scrumptous meal to be prepped and enjoy the beautiful flowers in the gardens.
